Albania vs Wales Prediction

A huge match for both of these two teams, particularly Wales as they press hard to put women’s football on the map in their country by qualifying for next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup. Despite national team legend Jess Fishlock having retired and a number of players missing this game through injury, Wales are a stronger side on paper than the hosts.

Albania currently sit 68th in the FIFA World Rankings and were already beaten twice by Wales in the group stage without scoring a single goal across both matches. Whilst you would expect a tight first-leg encounter, the depth of Wales is likely to prove crucial and it’s worth backing Rhian Wilkinson’s side to come away with an aggregate lead.

Albania vs Wales Tip: Wales to win
