Albania vs Serbia prediction

Coached by Sylvinho, with Pablo Zabaleta as his assistant coach, Albania are in a tough European qualifying group for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, alongside England and Serbia. The Albanians suffered a 2-0 loss to England at Wembley in Thomas Tuchel’s first game in charge of England in March before they then hammered Andorra by three goals to nil at home.

Serbia, on the other hand, are perhaps one of the great underachievers in international football in the last half a decade or so with a squad that should be capable of more than it has shown at major tournaments. They managed to avoid relegation from League A of the UEFA Nations League with a 3-1 aggregate victory over Austria in March.

This is a bit of an international derby so should be a fierce affair and home advantage means Albania should take the initiative against a naturally attacking Serbia side so both teams scoring may well seem a good bet.

Albania vs Serbia tip: Both teams to score
