Al Taawon vs Al Qadsiah prediction

Al Taawon have been pushing for continental competition qualification in each of the last couple of seasons but their run to the semi-finals of this season’s AFC Cup perhaps distracted them from their Saudi Pro League form as they in the middle-of-the-table. They were beaten 2-0 by Al Ahli the other day to mean they have now won just one of their last four matches.

They now face an Al Qadsiah side that, following their promotion to the top-flight last season, have been very impressive throughout the campaign and they have the King’s Cup of Champions final against Al Ittihad to look forward to later this month as they continue to challenge for a top three spot in the Saudi Pro League this season.

The visitors have replaced Al Taawon as the biggest threat to the so-called ‘big four’ in the Saudi Pro League and they would have to be viewed as favourites for this one.
