Al Qadsiah finished fourth last year in their first season back in the Saudi Pro League and they then spent heavily to sign Mateo Retegui over the summer. They have started with four victories, two draws and a defeat in their seven matches thus far. They were beaten 2-0 last week, though, away to Al Taawon.
They now face an Al Kholood side that have started the 2025/26 Saudi Arabian top-flight campaign with three victories and four defeats in their seven matches. The visitors come into this one on the back of back-to-back losses in the league, most recently losing 3-2 at home to newly-promoted Neom.
