Al Okhdood come into this one on the back of sitting firmly in the bottom three and the relegation places with just one win in their 12 matches so far this season. The hosts most recently suffered a 2-0 defeat to Al Ettifaq in Dammam the other day.
Matthias Jaissle led Al Ahli to the AFC Champions League title last season but they remained reasonably underwhelming domestically. They have been steady this season with just one defeat, but they have been held back by too many draws, too.
