Al Nassr began the campaign with nine successive victories but they have since drifted to seven points adrift of Al Hilal at the top-of-the-table. They have got back on track with back-to-back victories in recent matches.
They now face an Al Taawon side that have been flying high once again in the Saudi Pro League but the visitors have hit a bit of a rough patch of late, most recently sharing a 2-2 draw at home to Al Hazem.
