In their 17 games so far this season, following promotion to the top-flight last year, Al Najma have started with four draws and 13 losses as they sit rock-bottom. They were beaten 3-1 at home to by Al Qadsiah in their most recent outing the other day.
Al Riyadh also begin this match day sitting in the bottom three and the relegation places. The visitors have been difficult to play against of late and they managed to snatch themselves a 1-1 draw against league leaders Al Hilal.
That has given Al Riyadh a bit of confidence that they can eventually push themselves out of the danger zone and they would have to be viewed as the favourites for this one.
