Al Najma vs Al Ahli prediction

In their opening five matches of the Saudi Arabian top-flight campaign, Al Najma have suffered five successive defeats with 13 goals conceded in those games, following their promotion last season. Their most recent outing saw them suffer a 5-1 hammering at the hands of Al Kholood the other day, upon return from the international break.

Al Ahli are the Asian champions but, throughout the tenure of former Red Bull Salzburg coach Matthias Jaissle, they have often flattered to deceive domestically. That is best shown by this start in which they have played well but they have been held to three draws in their five matches thus far.

Despite their inconsistency and frustration, though, Al Ahli will be expected to ease themselves to a victory against newly-promoted opposition this weekend.

Al Najma vs Al Ahli tip: Al Ahli to win -1 handicap
