Al Kholood have managed four victories and so are three points outside of the bottom three and the relegation places in the Saudi Pro League but only rock-bottom and still winless Al Najma have lost more games than the hosts so far this season.

They face an Al Ahli side that, under the management of Matthias Jaissle, have suffered just one defeat in their 14 league games as they come into this one on the back of a dramatic, very late 2-1 win over Al Taawon making it four wins on the bounce.
