Al Khaleej vs Al Ittihad prediction

Al Khaleej, coached by Georgios Donis, come into this one on the back of a penalty shootout victory over high-flying Al Taawon in the round of 16 of the Saudi King’s Cup of Champions in midweek. They begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top-half of the table.

They face an Al Ittihad side that, after regaining the Saudi Arabian title last season, have drifted into the middle-of-the-table with three wins, a draw and two defeats in their six league games. The Jeddah-based outfit did manage to edge past fellow giants Al Nassr in the cup the other day.

Al Ittihad have been unconvincing thus far and Al Khaleej will believe they can exploit some weaknesses at the back and so siding with the hosts may well be a good bet.

Al Khaleej vs Al Ittihad tip: Double chance – Al Khaleej to win or draw & both teams to score
