Al Ittihad vs Al Shabab prediction

Coached by Laurent Blanc, Al Ittihad have struggled at the start of this season with four victories, two draws and three defeats in their nine matches in the Saudi Pro League. The Saudi Arabian champions most recently edged past Nasaf by a goal to nil in the group stages of the AFC Champions League the other day.

They now face an Al Shabab side that, following the appointment of former Real Sociedad boss Imanol Alguacil over the summer, have struggled with just one win in their nine games so far this season. Their performances have been improving as the season has gone on.

Al Ittihad will be firm favourites for this one, with their home advantage but Al Shabab will be confident of ensuring it isn’t too straightforward for the champions.

Al Ittihad vs Al Shabab tip: Al Ittihad to win & both teams to score
