Al Ittihad vs Al Ettifaq prediction

Al Ittihad, under the management of Laurent Blanc, come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Al Fateh in their most recent outing the other day. The Jeddah-based outfit have slipped in the league of late with just two victories in their last seven matches, closing the gap at the top-of-the-table to just four points with six games to go.

They now face an Al Ettifaq side that have been much-improved since the departure of Steven Gerrard. The visitors most recently edged past Al Riyadh by a goal to nil the other day, too, thanks to a 59th minute penalty scored by Vitinho. They have now suffered just two defeats in their last 12 matches in the Saudi Pro League.

Both sides have struggled for goals but have remained relatively tight at the back in their differing form so as Al Ittihad become nervous, a low-scoring affair may be a good bet.

Al Ittihad vs Al Ettifaq tip: Under 3.5 goals
