Al Ittihad vs Al Ahli prediction

Having started the defence of their Saudi Arabian league title, Al Ittihad are now on a four-match winless run of form in the Saudi Pro League. The Jeddah giants come into this one on the back of a much-needed bit of respite as they hammered Sharjah by three goals to nil in the league phase of the AFC Champions League.

They face an Al Ahli side that, under the management of former Red Bull Salzburg boss Matthias Jaissle, have started the campaign without a defeat in their opening seven matches with three victories and four draws thus far. They managed to defeat Al Sadd on the continent the other day.

Al Ahli will believe they can inflict further hurt on Al Ittihad this week, albeit the hosts remain a strong team and so it should be a thriller for the neutral at the King Abdullah Sports City.

Al Ittihad vs Al Ahli tip: Over 2.5 goals
