Al Hilal vs Al Shabab prediction

Al Hilal won the Saudi Pro League title without losing a single game last season but things have been much worse this time around. That said, the gap has been closed to just four points at the top of the Saudi Pro League table and they most recently hammered Al Khaleej by three goals to nil thanks to a brace from Salem Al Dawsari as well as an Aleksandar Mitrovic strike.

They now face an Al Shabab side that have been strong this season as they begin this round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top six of the Saudi Pro League table. Their fairly frustrating goalless draw at home to Al Okhdood the other day means they are now unbeaten in their last eight matches in the Saudi Pro League.

Al Shabab will fancy their chances of hurting a shaky Al Hilal side so whilst the hosts remain favourites, it could well actually be quite an entertaining encounter for this one.
