Al Hilal vs Al Ahli prediction

Al Hilal have performed below expectation this season as they struggle in the defence of their Saudi Arabian title behind Al Ittihad domestically but they now have a chance of continental success following their 7-0 demolition of K League side Gwangju at the weekend thanks to goals from the likes of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Malcom.

They now face their compatriots, Al Ahli, who, under the management of former Red Bull Salzburg boss Matthias Jaissle, come into this one on the back of comfortable 3-0 defeat of Thai Premier League side Buriram United thanks to strikes from Riyad Mahrez, Galeno and Roberto Firmino to extend their unbeaten run of form to five matches across all competitions.

These are two sides that have often been a little unconvincing domestically this season but they have also been entertaining and Al Hilal are favourites for another potentially captivating affair.

Al Hilal vs Al Ahli tip: Al Hilal to win & both teams to score
