Al Ettifaq vs Al Hilal prediction

Al Ettifaq come into this one on the back of an impressive and comfortable 3-1 defeat of Damak a couple of weeks ago, courtesy of a brace from Khalil Al Ghannam as well as a strike from Georginio Wijnaldum. They have been much-improved since Steven Gerrard departed the club mid-way through last season.

They now face an Al Hilal side that made the stellar appointment of Simone Inzaghi over the summer. They most recently defeated Nasaf by three goals to two in the group stages of the AFC Champions League to mean they are seven unbeaten across all competitions since reaching the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Al Hilal have been very impressive since the appointment of Inzaghi and they should be expected to ease themselves past Al Ettifaq with a reasonably comfortable win here.
