Al Ahli vs Al Shabab prediction

The Asian champions, Al Ahli, come into this one on the back of a typically frustrating start to their domestic campaign under the management of former Red Bull Salzburg boss Matthias Jaissle. They have been frustrated with two victories and two draws in their opening four matches so far this season.

They now face an Al Shabab side that come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home to Al Kholood in their most recent outing. Imanol Alguacil was appointed over the summer but the former Real Sociedad boss has started slowly with just one victory in their opening four matches.

Al Shabab have a stronger squad than what is being shown but the fact of the matter is that there is a gulf behind Al Ahli and a home win is to be expected for this one.
