Aktobe vs Legia Warsaw prediction

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League first qualifying round at Stadion Legii Warszawa in the Polish capital last week, Legia squeezed themselves an advantage out against the Kazakhs, courtesy of a 25th minute winner scored by Vahan Bichakhchyan.

Aktobe will believe they can match teams of the past from Kazakhstan, such as Astana, by reaching the league/group phase of a UEFA competition this season. This is a tough test, though, as Legia were impressive last season as they won the Polish cup, whilst also reaching the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League before losing to eventual winners Chelsea, albeit they did win the second-leg at Stamford Bridge.

Aktobe will be very content to have kept the margin of difference to just one goal here, but it remains the case that Legia are favourites to not just win the tie, but both legs.
