Ajax vs Galatasaray Prediction

Following the appointment of Francesco Farioli, a previously in crisis Ajax side have been much-improved this time around as they challenge PSV Eindhoven for the Eredivisie title.

The Amsterdam-based club got a weekend off from domestic action at the weekend and they actually come into this one on the back of a shock 1-0 defeat in the Latvian capital last week in the UEFA Europa League against Rigas Futbola Skola to mean they are in a bit of jeopardy in terms of staying in the top 24 finish.

They now face a Galatasaray side that have an abundance of attacking talent and have been thrilling to watch throughout the campaign with their seven UEFA Europa League matches consisting of 32 goals. They led struggling Dynamo Kyiv by two goals to nil and then three goals to one last week but an Andriy Yarmolenko brace pegged them back to just a point.

That point means they begin the final round of fixtures sitting outside of the top eight and the automatic knockout qualifying spots. However, with Ajax also expected to be on the front foot and Gala expected to continue in their attacking ways, this should be a thriller for the neutral.

Ajax vs Galatasaray Tip: Over 2.5 goals
