THE PREDICTION
It has been a bleak start to the season for both Essendon and Hawthorn so the pressure if firmly on the two teams ahead of this game. Essendon lost their sixth game in the opening seven rounds last week as they were no match for the Western Bulldogs and it is difficult to have much confidence in them based on recent displays. They welcome a Hawthorn side who are coming off their fourth defeat in seven but they will take positives from a 10-point loss at the hands of leaders Melbourne. To remain so competitive against a team with a 100% winning record will give them some hope and if they can retain those levels here, they can pick up a fourth win.
