THE PREDICTION
Western Bulldogs made it back-to-back defeats when they lost by a fair margin away at Hawthorn last time out, complementing a tight home defeat to Essendon the week prior. They remain fourth in the AFL ladder within touching distance of the top three but results have to improve quickly with Melbourne, Geelong Cats and Port Adelaide all winning last weekend. They host the latter of those here in a huge match at the top of the ladder. Port Adelaide are coming in hot on a five-match winning streak that will be tough to snap and eager to avenge their loss to the Bulldogs back in May in the reverse. Form suggests an away win here but it could be tight, so take Port Adelaide with a +5.5 head start to leave victorious.
