Sydney Swans will have to overcome the unpredictable GWS Giants if
they are to remain in the finals. The Giants have produced some
underwhelming efforts so far this season but they have also managed to
secure some outstanding results and they know that they can beat anyone
on their day. They will have to produce a string of consistent
performances if they are to win the Premiership but with the Swans
winning seven of their last eight, it will be a tough opening clash for
the Giants. Both teams are capable of prevailing here and while the
Giants are also in good form having won four of their last five, it is
the Swans that can edge this one.
