THE PREDICTION
Geelong Cats suffered what could turn out to be a very damaging
defeat as they went down to Melbourne in the last round of the regular
season and with Port Adelaide beating Western Bulldogs, it meant that
the Power finishing in second spot on the ladder at the expense of the
Cats. The pair now do battle for the right to earn the week off and with
the hosts winning their last six games, they start as narrow
favourites. The Cats have also lost two of their last three in an
end-of-season wobble and the respective form of the two teams ahead of
this clash could be telling with the hosts able to edge what should be a
brilliant contest.
