With both sides safely through to the final eight with plenty of room to spare, this huge crunch match at the top of the AFL ladder is all about bragging rights and should be a thriller. The home side are just two points behind Melbourne at the top with the winner of this guaranteed to finish the regular season leader. Geelong will be gunning for revenge after a 85-60 defeat away at Melbourne back in April and five wins from their last six suggests they can do it but Melbourne have one less loss than their opponents and an excellent five-match winning streak on the road. This looks very tight at the top but taking the AFL leaders Melbourne to extend that streak with a +1.5 head start looks a reasonable outcome here.
