Back-to-back wins for Brisbane Lions is a welcome sight after a fairly dodgy last few weeks of the season but they cannot finish lower than sixth in the AFL ladder and will be looking towards the final eight competition now. They host West Coast Eagles who start this weekend’s fixtures in ninth position after three defeats on the spin and it looks like coming agonisingly close for them this campaign. In fact, just two wins from their last six is unconvincing form indeed and Brisbane Lions should be able to get at least halfway to covering -44.5 as they did in victory over the Eagles back in February.
