AEK Larnakas vs AZ Alkmaar prediction

AEK Larnakas reached the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League in the 2022/23 campaign, but were one of the only Cypriot sides not to do well last year as they were knocked out in the second qualifying round by Paksi.

They now face an AZ Alkmaar side that, under the management of Maarten Martens, finished fifth in the Eredivisie. AZ made it to the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League last season before losing 3-2 on aggregate to Tottenham Hotspur.

AZ will believe they can go deep into the third-tier of European club competition, but the hosts will also get themselves on the front foot and so both teams scoring would appear a good bet.
