AEK Larnaca vs Aberdeen prediction

Having defeated Eredivisie outfit AZ Alkmaar by four goals to nil in their first game in the league phase in Larnaca, they then managed to defeat pre-tournament favourites Crystal Palace by a goal to nil at Selhurst Park a couple of weeks ago, courtesy of a 51st minute winner scored by Riad Bajic.

They now face an Aberdeen side that, under the management of Jimmy Thelin, began the league phase of this UEFA Europa Conference League campaign by losing 3-2 to Shakhtar Donetsk at Pittodrie, having been 3-0 down, before then being beaten 6-0 by AEK Athens in Greece a fortnight ago.

With their home advantage, and up against this standard of opposition, AEK Larnaca will be confident of making it three wins on the bounce this week.
