AEK Athens vs Aris Limassol prediction

AEK Athens have made some intriguing signings this summer, such as former Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic, and they are expected to reach the league phase of this tournament. They now face an Aris Limassol side that are looking to continue the form of Cypriot clubs and their general improvement in UEFA competition.

The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round tie saw the two sides share an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Alphamega Stadium last week. AEK raced into a 2-0 lead inside 14 minutes thanks to goals from Roberto Pereyra and Filipe Relvas, whilst Aris pulled it back to 2-2 after half an hour thanks to strikes from Andronikos Kakoullis and Connor Goldson.

AEK Athens have the home advantage in this second-leg and so will be favourites for a clash that is expected to again be quite an entertaining watch for the neutral.
