AEK Athens vs Aberdeen prediction
AEK Athens began the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League with a surprise 3-1 defeat to Albert Riera’s Celje a couple of weeks ago. The Greeks most recently suffered a comfortable 2-0 defeat at home to PAOK Salonika at the OPAP Arena at the weekend.
They now face an Aberdeen side that, under the management of Jimmy Thelin, collapsed quite badly in the second-half of last season and the Dandies head into this one on the back of a woeful start to the Scottish Premiership campaign in which they have managed just two victories in their eight matches.
AEK Athens aren’t playing too well at the moment but they face a poor Aberdeen side and AEK should come out on top, even if it isn’t too convincing.
