AC Milan preview: Stubborn Rossoneri
Following the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri over the summer, AC Milan have wanted to try and batten down the hatches a bit more to try and become more of a serious outfit again at the top end of the table in Serie A.
The Rossoneri come into this one on the back of frustrating draws in the last week, having to rescue a 2-2 draw against still winless Pisa at San Siro last week before then sharing a 1-1 draw with Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium in midweek.
Roma preview: Getting by
Following the appointment of Gian Piero Gasperini over the summer, Roma will have wanted to have adopted his very attacking and entertaining style of football but instead they are grinding out results to fight at the top end of the table.
The Giallorossi begin this match day sitting below league leaders and defending champions Napoli on goal difference at the top after defeating Parma by two goals to one at the Stadio Olimpico in the capital city in midweek.

AC Milan vs Roma prediction
These are two sides that are pushing towards the very top end of the Serie A table with very low-scoring and fairly conservative styles of football. That is predictable for the hosts with Massimiliano Allegri but it is the complete opposite for the style of football of Gian Piero Gasperini. As well as their styles thus far and the fact that neither will want to a lose this one, a low-scoring affair is again very likely.
