AC Milan Team News: Tomori suspension

In AC Milan’s 2-0 defeat of Empoli last weekend, Fikayo Tomori was sent off and the England international is now sidelined through suspension. They have a couple of key injury doubts, too, including winter signing Warren Bondo.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Walker, Thiaw, Pavlovic, Hernandez; Fofana, Reijnders; Musah, Joao Felix, Alex Jimenez; Abraham

Unavailable: Tomori (Suspended), Florenzi (Injured)

Questionable: Emerson Royal (Injured), Bondo (Injured), Loftus-Cheek (Injured)

Hellas Verona Team News: A few issues

Much like Tomori, Hellas Verona will be without Daniele Ghilardi for this weekend due to suspension. Verona also have a few key absentees such as Abdou Harroui and Benfica loanee Casper Tengstedt, whilst Dailon Livramento is a key injury doubt.

Predicted XI (3-4-1-2): Montipo; Daniliuc, Coppola, Oyegoke; Tchatchoua, Bernede, Niasse, Bradaric; Suslov; Daniel Mosquera, Sarr

Unavailable: Ghilardi (Suspended), Frese (Injured), Serdar (Injured), Harroui (Injured), Tengstedt (Injured)

Questionable: Dailon Livramento (Injured)

AC Milan vs Hellas Verona Prediction

AC Milan come into this one on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Feyenoord at De Kuip in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout playoff round tie due to a third minute strike by forward Igor Paixao. The Rossoneri have been inconsistent throughout Sergio Conceicao’s tenure since he took charge of the club at the start of this year. They now face a Hellas Verona side that are sitting in the bottom-half of Serie A with their 5-0 hammering at the hands of Atalanta at the Bentegodi last weekend meaning they have now managed just one win in their last six matches. Milan have been frustrating to watch so whilst they are favourites, it is not expected to be a convincing win here.

AC Milan vs Hellas Verona Tip: AC Milan to win & under 3.5 goals
