AC Milan preview: Impressive Rossoneri
AC Milan come into this one on the back of a brilliant start to the season, despite losing at home to newly-promoted Cremonese on the opening day of the campaign as the Rossoneri seek to return to the Italian title race, let alone a top four finish.
Milan enjoyed a five-match winning streak across all competitions after that loss to Cremonese before heading into the October international break on the back of a goalless draw with Juventus in Turin a couple of weeks ago.
Fiorentina preview: Floundering in Florence
Following the appointment of former AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli, the last man to win the Scudetto with Milan, over the summer, Fiorentina have underperformed at the start of the season as they again deal with the UEFA Europa Conference League.
I Viola have started the 2025/26 Serie A campaign with no victories in their opening six matches. They most recently suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to high-flying Roma at the Artemio Franchi before the break.

AC Milan vs Fiorentina prediction
AC Milan, in typical Massimiliano Allegri fashion, have taken the mantra on of winning is all that matters. The Rossoneri have been underwhelming in terms of their excitement level but they have been very difficult to play against. They now face a Fiorentina side that head to Milan looking for any sort of fluency and cohesion but Milan have to be viewed as the firm favourites for this one, especially with their home advantage.
