A battered and bruised Wales take to the Cardiff turf again as they face Calcutta Cup-winning Scotland in the Six Nations on Saturday.

Wales form: In disarray

It was a sixth successive Six Nations defeat for struggling Wales last week, with Steve Tandy's side suffering a 54-12 hammering at the hands of reigning champions France in Cardiff.

It's a six-day turnaround for a Welsh side who have now lost 23 of their last 25 international matches, and that is starting to impact fan interest as last week's attendance at the Principality Stadium was the lowest for a Wales match at the venue, covid era aside.

Scotland form: Calcutta Cup triumph

Scotland began their Six Nations campaign with a hugely disappointing defeat at the hands of Italy, but they responded in perfect fashion last week with a superb 31-20 win over England in Edinburgh.

The Scots have lost their last five away matches in the Six Nations though, since a 27-26 victory over Wales in this very stadium a little over two years ago.

Wales vs Scotland prediction

Woeful Wales have lost their first two Six Nations contests by 41 and 42 points respectively, with reports of record-low crowds in Cardiff only adding to the misery surrounding the international setup right now.

In contrast, Scotland enter this match buoyed by a fantastic win over England, and head coach Gregor Townsend will be urging his men to use that performance as a springboard for future success.

The Scots' record away from Edinburgh has been poor in recent times, but they look the clear favourites here against a team who are completely lacking in belief. We expect the visitors to cover a handicap of 14.5 points.

Wales vs Scotland tip: Scotland to win with -14.5 handicap
