Marek Bujlo: Polish finisher with a suffocating ground game
Marek Bujlo (6-0) enters as one of the most intriguing heavyweight newcomers on the roster. Fighting out of Elk, Poland, the 6’4” BJJ black belt has built a spotless professional record with 100% first-round finishes, split evenly between knockouts and submissions. What makes him stand out isn’t just the perfect record, but the method: he looks composed, technical and efficient, never rushing but always dominating.
Bujlo’s ground game is legitimately dangerous. His submissions are tight and quick, his transitions smooth, and when he chooses to strike from top position, his ground-and-pound is clean and accurate. While he hasn’t faced UFC-level opposition yet, the consistency and discipline he’s shown across six straight stoppages make him a quietly serious heavyweight prospect. He may not have huge name value yet, but he fights like someone who won’t be a newcomer for long.
Denzel Freeman: Athletic, diverse, but still untested
Standing across from him is Denzel Freeman (6-1) from Colorado Springs, representing the United States. Freeman has competed in PFL and LFA, picking up wins over credible regional opponents and showing glimpses of a well-rounded toolkit. He can strike, he can grapple, and he moves better than most heavyweights.
However, while Freeman is powerful and versatile, he remains relatively untested against strong technical grapplers. His lone career loss came via decision, but even in some of his wins he has shown moments of hesitation under pressure. Bujlo is exactly the kind of opponent who can capitalise on those pauses: heavyweights who shoot clean takedowns, advance instantly and finish consistently are rare, and Freeman has not faced anyone like that on his climb so far.
Marek Bujlo vs Denzel Freeman Prediction
Bujlo’s precision grappling, high finishing rate and composure make him the more reliable threat. His ability to close distance, force clinches and take opponents down cleanly should allow him to impose his strongest weapon almost immediately.
Freeman is dangerous early, but Bujlo is more controlled, more technical and far more proven at converting dominant positions into finishes.
Prediction: Marek Bujlo to win
