30-year-old Camila Giorgi beat Emma Raducanu and Elise Mertens in defence of her Canada Masters title last week but the Italian lost to Jessica Pegula from a set up in the round of 16. Giorgi suffered a steep drop back to world number 65 after losing her ranking points and this looks a good candidate for an upset on Tuesday against a dangerous youngster in Marta Kostyuk. 20-year-old Kostyuk qualified well this weekend to make her Cincinnati Masters debut and she found some decent form over the grass swing before taking a month away from the tour. These are two of the tougher players to predict on the WTA tour but a three-set tussle edged Giorgi’s way two years ago on clay and this could come as close. Leave this match out of an accumulator but back Kostyuk to snatch at least a set here with Giorgi coming off a big disappointment.
