ARYNA SABALENKA VS QINWEN ZHENG PREDICTION

There is nobody playing better than Aryna Sabalenka in the last few weeks and the in-form Belarussian produced an outstanding comeback to beat Coco Gauff in the semi-finals. She lost the first set 6-1 and then battled back to win the second and third sets 6-4 in a real high-quality affair.

She will come into this final full of confidence and even more so based on her record against Qinwen Zheng. She has won all three previous meetings and dominated them at that. In any of the three meetings, Sabalenka has not lost more than five games against Qinwen as she has cantered to victory in each encounter.

Qinwen Zheng will be fired on home territory to get a win in front of the Chinese fans. She has played well this week and won her semi 6-3 6-4 against compatriot Xinyu Wang.

This is a major step up however and it is hard to make a case for Qinwen. She is capable of doing better than her previous meetings suggest but she is coming up against Sabalenka at the wrong time. The top seed is in outstanding form and it is hard to see any other outcome than Sabalenka picking up another title here.
