THE PREDICTION

World number four and Tallinn Open top seed Anett Kontaveit looked in excellent shape on Thursday with a straight-sets victory over Tereza Martincova. The Estonian home hopeful came back from a set down to in-form Xiyu Wang in the first round, a deceptively tricky opener, and she looks well capable of reaching the semi-finals from this clash with Ysaline Bonaventure. World number 138 Bonaventure, however, has found perhaps her best two results of the entire season back-to-back in Tallin, qualifying well this weekend before stunning both Shelby Rogers and ninth-seed Jil Teichmann in straight sets. The Belgian is well capable of taking this match to a decider and with Kontaveit not yet back to her best, uber-consistent level taking the Estonian to win outright and perhaps even just a set is not as cautious as it may appear.
