THE PREDICTION
Third seed Karen Khachanov had to come back from a set down to beat in-form James Duckworth on Wednesday but the Russian ultimately did well to come straight form Indian Wells to win. The 25-year-old was the loser of his only previous meeting with hard-working John Millman in three sets at the Auckland Open last season and the pair should cancel each other out well again here on Friday. 32-year-old Millman is as comfortable on the baseline as Khachanov and happy to exchange long rallies with the best of them. So far the world number 58 has needed three sets to beat Benjamin Bonzi and Ilya Marchenko, with Khachanov a huge step-up in class. Khachanov to win in three could be a shrewd move but taking the Russian to win outright is the call here.
