Sri Lanka vs England prediction

England demonstrated their ability in the T20i format with a hard-fought 11-run win via DLS in the opening game of this series. Sri Lanka failed to protect their wickets adequately and were bowled out in the run chase, spinners Adil Rashid and Liam Dawson picking up five wickets between them. But it was Sam Curran who stole the show with a hat-trick, the left-arm pacer picking up only the second international hat-trick in England’s T20 history.

Sri Lanka aren’t far away from England if the first game was anything to go by, but it does feel like the England batters are capable of stepping up a gear moving forward, which is a good sign for them. The tourists are playing good cricket, are in the midst of a winning run and should be backed to keep that going here.
