Sri Lanka vs England prediction

England were afforded a huge injection of confidence after a much-needed pair of ODI victories in Colombo, coming from behind to beat Sri Lanka in the series. Now attention turns to the shorter format and Jofra Archer returns to provide some fire with the ball. Jos Buttler comes into the side as well, so expect potential fireworks on the batting front.

Sri Lanka are always a threat with home advantage, but England are a significantly better T20 side than they are in the 50-over format and it would be no surprise if that was reflected over the course of this series. The sensible move in this first game, would be to back the tourists.

Sri Lanka vs England tip: England to win
