South Africa are definitely T20 World Cup contenders based on what we’ve been seeing from them over the course of this series so far, albeit against admittedly weak opposition in West Indies who continue to flop so far in 2026. Two successful run chases so far have defined the series, the Proteas losing just one wicket and three wickets respectively, the latter whilst chasing down 222 and doing so with two and a half overs to spare.

Ryan Rickelton is in great form, whilst Quinton de Kock joined the party on Thursday, striking 115 from just 49 balls. On any given day, a different South African batter can take you down and West Indies are learning this the hard way. This makes the hosts such an impressive team and well worth backing to secure a 3-0 sweep.
