Scotland form: In the title picture?
Scotland were staring at a sixth straight away defeat in the Six Nations two weeks ago, but Gregor Townsend's side mounted a fine comeback from 15 points down to eventually beat Wales 26-23 in Cardiff.
Having beaten England in the fixture before that, the Scots are very much in the running for a first ever Six Nations title, but they simply must win this fixture in order to help achieve that goal.

France form: From strength to strength
Reigning champions France continued their title defence with a routine 33-8 victory over Italy at Stade Pierre-Mauroy last time out, making it three bonus-point victories from three in the 2026 Six Nations Championship.
Les Bleus are also on track for the coveted Grand Slam - a feat they last achieved in 2022.

Scotland vs France prediction
With both teams in the running for the Six Nations title, this is surely the standout fixture of what is the penultimate weekend of the 2026 Six Nations.
After losing to Italy in their opener, Scotland have responded superbly and the Edinburgh crowd will be in full voice as they aim to inspire their team to another famous victory on home turf.
That was the case against England in the second round of fixtures, but France are different animal right now and have undoubtedly played the best rugby of the tournament to date.
Le Bleus should have enough to withstand the Scottish pressure, but home advantage counts for a lot at Murrayfield, and we expect the hosts to make it close.
Scotland vs France tip: France to win by 1-7 points
