THE PREDICTION

Northampton Saints got a first Premiership win in three matches after back-to-back hefty defeats to Leicester Tigers and Sale, with a convincing 20-36 victory at Bristol Bears. They should be feeling confident of doubling down with this, currently, easiest of Premiership fixtures at home to a Bath side who have yet to win this season. They looked markedly better in a 16-23 defeat to West Country rivals Exeter last Friday having gone in 10-6 ahead at half-time but Saints should be able to handle themselves at home here. Bath could be on the long road back so taking Northampton to cover a cautious -6 seems a reasonable concession here.
