THE PREDICTION

Exeter Chiefs made it back-to-back away games in the Premiership with a 31-34 smash and grab at Northampton Saints last Sunday. They are now riding a three-match winning streak after suffering a poor three-match losing streak across all competitions as they desperately pursue the likes of Saracens and Harlequins above them whilst staving off the unlikely rise of London Irish, who could well be ahead of them by the time they take to the pitch on Sunday. In fact even travelling Sale could end the weekend above Exeter if the hosts fail to beat them here as the play-off race tightens up considerably and Sale look in decent shape to challenge that here as they take a six-match unbeaten streak to Sandy Park.

The visitors were held 27-27 at home to London Irish last Friday but they have won their last two away games at Harlequins and the Saints to suggest backing them with a hefty +4 head-start could be the shrewd move here. The sensible one remains taking the hosts to win outright.
