THE PREDICTION

It was unfortunate that Bath had to travel to last season’s Champions Cup runners-up La Rochelle just after winning their first match of the season at the 14th attempt but they were not totally embarrassed in a 39-21 defeat. Barring a miracle they are already out of the Champions Cup but they are in for another hiding here when Leinster visit. The United Rugby Championship second-from leaders thumped Montpellier 89-7 last week and they have won all of their actually played away matches this season, with their defaulted game at Montpellier due to covid-19 the anomaly. It could be a margin of anything between -10 and -40 with Leinster in this mood but split the difference at -25.
