THE PREDICTION

Salford Red Devils booked their spot in the play-offs with another scintillating attacking performance and they have opted to rest their stars ahead of their opening game. They will be without their first-choice spine and that opens the door for Warrington Wolves to end their woeful campaign on a high. The Wolves will finish in 11th spot in Daryl Powell’s first year in charge which is their poorest return during the Super League era but despite losing to Huddersfield Giants last time out – their seventh defeat in eight games – they should be strong enough to overcome the much-changed hosts.
