WIGAN WARRIORS

• Wigan continued their strong start to the season as they proved too good for Huddersfield and ran in 42 points in their win last week with the Warriors confident on building on that as they host struggling Hull KR.
• The Warriors were without Jake Bibby last week due to personal issues but the centre should come back into contention here and the fact he is included in the 21-man squad suggests he could return to the side.
• Tony Clubb picked up a knock to his shoulder last week so he drops out but Ben Flower has managed to overcome some niggles and could make his first appearance of the season whilst Joe Burgess also comes back into the squad in place of Jake Shorrocks.

HULL KR

• Hull KR went down to a fourth consecutive defeat as they failed to hold on to a half-time lead against Castleford last week and their defensive issues were apparent again with the Tigers able to break the line at will.
• Rovers continue to struggle with injuries but will be hoping to have a few of their sidelined players back in the mix here with Jordan Abdull and Harvey Livett both back in the 21-man squad while Robbie Mulhern is also back after serving a one-match suspension.
• Mitch Garbutt is out after suffering a head knock last week and he is joined on the injury list by Ben Crooks who could be out for a sustained period with a neck problem with the latter’s absence opening the door for Ethan Ryan to make his Hull KR debut and Anesu Mudoti could also come in for his first team debut if selected.

THE PREDICTION

Wigan produced an eye-catching performance to hand Huddersfield their first loss of the season last week and the Warriors will feel they are starting to hit their straps after a couple of strong displays. They now face a struggling Hull KR side that have lost their last four and with the Warriors winning every regular season game on home soil since they lost to St. Helens last April, the hosts should be able to win big again.
