Defending champions RCB were again extremely impressive in the regular season of this year's edition of the IPL - finishing at the top and ahead of Gujarat and the Sunrisers Hyderabad on net run rate after nine victories in their 14 matches.

Gujarat finished their season extremely strongly after a slow start. They head into the playoffs against RCB on the back of an 89-run thumping of the Chennai Super Kings the other day with all three of their star-studded top order of Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler hitting half centuries.

Gujarat will believe they can out score anyone on their day, with that top order, and they are in excellent form. Buttler is finding his best, too, and he has always been a player suited to the pressure so backing him to be their top batter may well be decent value ahead of Sudharsan and Gill.
