RCB could become the first team since the Mumbai Indians in 2020 to win back-to-back IPL titles, and just the third team ever as they seek to see off the 2022 winners once again.

RCB finished at the top of the ten-team table after 14 matches in the regular season, sitting just ahead of both Gujarat and Sunrisers Hyderabad on net run rate. In their playoff for the final, RCB then hammered Gujarat by 92 runs, hitting 254-5 before bowling the Titans out for just 162. Since then, Gujarat have booked their spot at the tournament with a seven-wicket victory against the Rajasthan Royals, chasing 215 in just 18.4 overs.
