Pakistan vs South Africa prediction

South Africa have had their credentials tested over the course of this tour and came into the second ODI with Pakistan having won the last three white ball matches between the two nations. But the Proteas responded emphatically, winning by eight wickets after chasing down 270 with just under ten overs to spare. Their batters were magnificent on a good pitch.

Quinton de Kock’s unbeaten 123 was decisive on Thursday, but it’s a big challenge for him to repeat those heroics. You’d expect Pakistan’s bowlers to improve their cutting edge on what could be a used pitch, which is likely to be a bit more challenging for the batters. Pakistan bounced back when they last lost against the Proteas in the earlier T20i series, so backing them to do the same again here looks the smart move.

Pakistan vs South Africa tip: Pakistan to win
